MusicSkins and Cartoon Network Enterprises Partner to Create Accessories Based on Hit Adult Swim Properties

MusicSkins gains licensing rights to offer Skins for personal electronic devices
featuring Adult Swim original animated character and series

BROOKLYN, NY (March 8th, 2010) – MusicSkins LLC, a leader in music-related premium vinyl skin products for iPods, MP3 players, cell phones, PDAs, laptops and gaming accessories, today announced a licensing deal with Cartoon Network Enterprises (CNE), the licensing and merchandising arm of Adult Swim, that grants MusicSkins rights to offer skins featuring the artwork from Adult Swim’s portfolio of highly-popular, original, animated programs.

Adult Swim is the late-night network for adults that shares channel space with Cartoon Network between 10:00 p.m. (ET/PT) and 6:00 a.m. (ET/PT), whose shows are designed to appeal to a grown-up sense of humor and adult tastes and sensibilities. Under the new licensing agreement, MusicSkins has the rights to market skins featuring characters and artwork from the most popular Adult Swim action-adventure and comedy series such as “Aqua Teen Hunger Force”, “Robot Chicken”, “Metalocalypse”, “The Venture Bros.”, “Freaknik”, “Squidbillies”, “The Drinky Crow Show”, and more.

The Archer Production Team's twitter page just linked all of us tweeting addicts to Warming Glow because they said "some nice stuff about #Archer at the end of this article".

To summarize, Warming Glow has announced that FX has granted Archer a second season starting in 2011 with 13 new episodes instead of the 10 FCP was granted for this season! There is hope that by having a second season Archer will be able to generate a bigger fan base.

You can help by telling all of your friends to watch Archer Thursday's at 10 pm. If they don't listen to you threaten to kill their favorite pair of shoes or something!!!

AdultSwim.com announced yesterday that they're putting together a tournament of sorts for some of the yet to air on TV pilots that you've been hearing about. Each week, two pilots will be put against each other and voted on via their website.

Here's what we have:

Right Now: Cheyenne Cinnamon vs Snake N' Bacon

Feb. 18th: Southies vs Duckworth

Feb. 22nd: Yappy Broads vs Neon Knome

Feb. 25th: Soul Quest Overdrive vs Totally 4 Teens

On March 1st the remaning shows will be pit against each other in a Fatal-Four Way Dance To The Death with the winner airing on [adult swim] TV shortly after.
